Memorando de campo del NYSED

El Memorando de campo McKinney-Vento 2020 del NYSED proporciona información sobre la capacitación requerida para que los enlaces McKinney-Vento participen en el desarrollo profesional para que puedan identificar y satisfacer mejor las necesidades de los niños y jóvenes sin hogar bajo la Ley federal McKinney-Vento. La ley federal también requiere que los enlaces de McKinney-Vento se aseguren de que el personal de la agencia educativa local (LEA) que brinde servicios de McKinney-Vento (por ejemplo, superintendentes, registradores, directores de transporte, presidentes de CSE, consejeros escolares, trabajadores sociales escolares, directores, directores de Título I, maestros) ) reciben desarrollo profesional. Los enlaces pueden hacer esto proporcionando la capacitación al personal ellos mismos o asegurándose de que el personal de LEA participe en una de las capacitaciones ofrecidas por NYS-TEACHS.
